Global Health Awareness & Cultural Understanding
All medical students are entitled to participate in a four-week clerkship in a chosen clinical or pre-clinical field of medicine. SCOPE Exchange Program is opened for all medical students in Indonesia who have finished the 3rd year of medicine program (at least) in their university or have graduated for no longer than 6 months (at maximun).
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN SCOPE EXCHANGE PROGRAM
1. Pay the Application Form fee and choose the country preferences
2. Outgoing and country announcement
3. Exchange Agreement
4. Fill the selected country, time, and department on IFMSA Website
5. Receive Card of Acceptance
6. Send Card of Confirmation to Host
7. You are good to go!
Standing Committee on Research Exchange (SCORE) was established in 1991 and presently involves more than 65 active National Member Organizations. We offer more than 3000 projects for medical students worldwide.
SCORE EXCHANGE PROGRAM
IFMSA Research Exchange Program at the national level si supervised and coordinated by each SCORE IFMSA National Member Organizaton and all medical students, wether they are affiliated or not with SCORE IFMSA National Member Organization, can register themselves for this program voluntary.

SCORE PROJECTS
BASIC SCIENCE
This type of research is about a molecular basis in the laboratory. Example: “Observed Lab Effect of TGF Beta on Mice Tissue Culture”.
CLINICAL TESEARCH WITH LAB WORK
This research combines the clinical side of the patients with the laboratory side. Example: “Antiparasitic Resistance on Blood Culture from Anaemic & non-Anaemic Patients”.
CLINICAL RESEARCH WITHOUT LAB WORK
This type of study concerns for the clinical side of the patient. Example: “Impact of BMI toward Baldness”.
GAP EXCHANGE
This research is a collaboration with SCOPH where the research theme is NCSs and NTDs which include endemic disease. Example of GAP exchange can be about stunting, tuberculosis, etc.
